Diallo is the recipient of the 1998 Prentice Hall Publisher Award of Maryland, a three-time recipient of the African-American Harry Harden Jr Award which honors people of color, a four-time recipient of the Award of Excellence for Oustanding Contribution to the Academic Fields and the winner of the 2009 Business & Scientific Medal for the launch of his international publishing and its innovative digital publishing model. In 2019, he received the Intercon Top 50 Tech Visionaries Award in Las Vegas for his work on innovation and entrepreneurship.
