Diallo has won nine awards for his contribution to the business, scholarly and entrepreneurial fields. He is the recipient of the 1998 Prentice Hall Publisher Award of Maryland, a three-time recipient of the Harry Harden Jr Award which honors people of color, a four-time recipient of the Award of Excellence for Oustanding Contribution to the Academic Fields and the winner of a 2009 Business & Scientific Award for the innovative business model he invented (the Digital Press Publishing Model).
